Kalo tak silap aku CBR400 pun hi rev jugak macam ZX2 kan?

Moto aku dulu pun lebih kurang gak problem macam ni... idle cun...
pickup constant dari rpm 0 sampai rpm 6... pastu semput dari rpm 6 sampai 8... pastu okay semula dari rpm 9 sampai rpm 16... (paling tinggi rpm aku capai).
Buat balancing kat Seng Koi... terus cun dan dapat constant pickup dari rpm 0 sampai 16, takde semput-semput...

Yang aku pernah baca dulu.... bila moto yang hi rev, carb balancing kena buat untuk low rev, mid rev dan hi rev... kalo tak silap dari forum kawasaki sport racing australia.

abg MI, zx2 lagi hi-rev. RPM sampai 19k sapa bole celen. CBR sampai 14k je..tapi ada kemungkinan apa yg abg cakap tu, cuma saya nak tumpukan ke electronic + wiring dulu.. Smile thx bro!

UPDATE!!!

tadi ada masa sket, gi jenguk moto, dan buat sket2..

setelah troubleshoot wiring kat CDI dah setel, problem masih ada, kami teruskan troubleshoot bahagian ignition coil.

memandangkan nak carik CBR400 punya ignition coil punya la payah, nak jumpa member yg pakai pun takde, so, saya swap dengan VFR400...



ignition coil lepas dibuka dari CBR.




ignition coil VFR400. saya ceraikan satu2 dari casing dia.

kami menghadapi sedikit masalah.
wiring VFR dan CBR tak sama! VFR ada 8 soket yg disambung ke ignition coil tapi CBR cuma ada 4! boleh lihat dari gambar di bawah




jadi setelah difikir2,nak dpt ignition coil yg sama mmg mustahil, jadi DIY saje! sifu saya mencadangkan supaya buat sambungan secara parallel. DIY RAWK!!!! Laughing


lepas tu kena carik sambungan yang betul utk dapatkan firing ang betul. CBR400 punya susunan firing 1-3-2-4. nak carik pun satu hal ni. jadi nak tau samada sambungan tu betul ke tak, kami crank motor banyak2 kali, kalo ada letup2 kirenye salah sambungan la tu. dan satu lagi kami rasa manifold pakai tangan. kalau manifold yg panas tu maknanya dah betul la sambungannya.

tapi setelah swap ignition coil, masalah tersebut masih ada lagi............. Mad Crying or Very sad

so..selepas ni...next project...saya akan troubleshoot 'signal generator' kat engine pulak! akan ku carik masalah ni sampai dapat dan buat motorku titptop!! hiyaahhhhH! bounce

Zul!!. Ko ada test meter tak??
Setiap coil CBR ko tu ada 2 input dgn 2 output ke sparkplug 1+4 / 2+3 kan??

Cuba check resistance antara dua input mesti dlm lingkungan 2.3~3.5 ohm.

Resistance antara 2 output ke spark plug pulak mesti dalam lingkungan 12~18K ohm. Kalau Ok maknanya coil ko OK lagi. Takyah tukar.

malangnya, saya tak ada test meter. Crying or Very sad tapi lepas guna ignition coil VFR pun the problem still exist. maknanya masalah lain la ni.

Try tukar2 barang ni leceh. Kalau tau mcm mana nak test lagi baik. Aku suspek bahagian fueling ko ada problem. Kalau ignition nak start pun susah.. Kalau benda TPS kt karburetor tu cuba check. Mungkin benda tu puncanya. Kena ada test meter jugak nak check benda tu.

bende TPS tu dah cek bang. dah disconnect. tapi takde apa beza pun. ntah2, bende tu auta je kot?

kalo bahagian fueling tu camana tu? xpaham la bang.

Kena tengok wire TPS tu sambung ke mana. Kalau ke ignition box mungkin ia utk mengawal ignition advance/retard.
Fueling tu termasuk karburetor la. Hi speed jet sumbat, float set rendah sangat, even pernah kena sekali breather dekat tangki petrol sumbat pun mcm tu. Bukak tutup tangki je OK.

yerp, dia bersambung ke CDI. kan saya dah tunjuk gambo tu yg saya cek wiring dari TPS ke CDI. masalah tu jadik jugak. bende lain la rasanya. karburetor tu belum lagi wat pape. cuma tgk diagfram je. xkoyak. mungkin btol kot kna cek balik float seting dsb. TQ!!! Smile

salam guys...

UPDATE!!!!!!!!


alhamdulillah...selama setahun saya pening cari masalah ni (pada 4k RPM dan ia semput), hantar ke kedai di Sri Putri pun tak jalan...akhirnya...petang tadi... berjaya solve......................................................dengan bantuan Tukun GSX400 (MBC) dan Castello RS250 (MBC).................

nak tau masalah dtg dari mana? JAWAPANNYA.....speed limiter pada meter.... Cool

dan semput2 tu bukannya problem dari CARBURETOR, CDI, ENGINE, WIRING dan bla3... Laughing

saya pun tak sempat nak fahamkan problem ni 100%. cuma sesikit je. Original Meter CBR400 ada speed limiter. kalau tak salah saya, apabila meter tunjuk 180km/j, ia akan hantar signal ke CDI utk cut power (restrict). tetapi...selepas excident...original meter tu PECAH dan saya gantikan dengan meter ZXR 250. meter ZXR tak ada limiter. jadi salah satu wayar dari CDI tak disambungkan ke mana2.lihat dibawah.



sebab tu la moto saya semput, sbb ia sentiasa hantar signal ke CDI supaya sentiasa RESTRICT power. Smile

jadi, apa yg kami buat?




kami nak "tipu" CDI tu. so, kami letak satu resistor kat CDI sebagai DUMMY. seolah2 speed limiter tu dipasang la tapi sebenarnya tak. so, apa yg saya dpt, motor saya dah tak semput2 lagi serta tiada CUT OFF lagi. boleh la dpt top 220km/j Laughing

p/s - tolng betulkan kalau rasa ada penyataan saya yg salah. TQ!

p/s - siapa sangka masalah yg memeningkan ni hanya dtg dari meter je! Laughing

What is the speed limiter?

The Speed limiter is an electronic sensor inside the speedometer, once you get to 112MPH (180KPH) the sensor is triggered, signals sent to the CDI/ECU unit to shut down 2 spark plugs. After this happens you simply cannot accelerate any more!

What happens after the Mod is fitted?
After fitting the bike will go past 112MPH (180KPH), Race/track day bikes will benefit this if fitted at CDI/ECU end of the bike as that means they can get rid of the Speedo off the bike.

How do I get rid of it?
There are a few methods of bypassing or removing this limiter; the item listed is one of them.

What IS this item?
Itís simply a resistor with wires soldered to each leg and protected with Adhesive Heatshrink for protection. The wires come ready prepped for you to crimp on the provided crimps or for you to solder in to the loom.

Whatís in the kit?
1 x Res mod
2 x female crimps + an extra 1 for sods law.
1 X set of how to, step-by-step instructions for your bike*.
Instructions show 2 locations for the mod, plug in behind Speedo or hard wire in to CDI/ECU end of the wiring loom.

Do I need anything else?
Yes. You will also need: crimp tool, Pliers that also cut, Soldering iron, solder, flux, Electrical Tape or Loom Tape, sharp blade/wire strippers & Patience!

But I donít have Soldering equipment
If you do not have access to Soldering Equipment you can twist the wires together, make sure it will NOT come undone. Loose Mod connection will cause issues.
