halu geng, i got question(s), this's my 5th bike, kriss1... i use it 2 go 2 mlke 2 my college, so, any suggestion 4 da sproket setting??? n how can i know da bike isn't overheating??? otai2 sekalian, plz answer..

For long range purposes, try to use smaller size sprocket so that it won't over-stress your engine. Why? If you have ridden a mountain-bike before. Its just the same theory. Smaller gears means that lesser strenght is used compare to higher gear. Simple.

For Over-Heating issue. Normally, we don't know whether the bike is too hot just by looking at it. We know its over-heating if there's a kind of stinging smell that would normally cause eyes and nose irritation. Because of the gas it releases from the Engine when it over-heats. If you took out B-Full and used a Yamaha Virago. You will know. For small bikes, its just the same but not as obvious as those bigger cc bikes.

Stick to factory settings... why? every bike is engineered to perform at its best!
Changing sprocket for high speed will make your bike having higher topspeed but will stress your engine when you are riding with pillion (extra weight extra fuel consumption as well). Changing your sprocket for pick up will make the bike go faster but lower top speed. Unless your are using your bike for racing (100% performance), you should stick to the standard factory settings.

Yea, if your bike is STOCK than don't touch anything besides if its to make your bike handles better. Anything about engines is way risky unless you know what you are doing.

dari apa yg saya tau, kalo main long distance, naikkan 1-2 mata, kalau main dlm town, nak pickup, kurangkan 1-2 mata dari spoket asal.

tak silap aku, standard kuar kilang, sprocket 44. mmg ringan la. aku tuka pakai 39. i think that's the smallest kriss can go. tu pon dah rasa berat. top speed of course akan tambah la compare to 44. jangan terlalu kecik sprocket tu. nanti enjin kondem cepat.

pasal overheating, so far tak penah ada masalah since aku beli tawun 97. memang reliable. just make sure minyak itam cukup all the time. takkan ada masalah.

got another, bila ride, tak kira laju or slow, bila lepas tangan, moto akan lari ke sebelah kanan...

tul tu.. 2 possibilities... bearing atau jalan tak rate. tapi kalau moto baru, baik ko antar kedai ko beli tu suruh dia check.

lari memang takleh ar... sbb dia ada tayar... ride bolee.... tapi sbb tank kecik, kena la cari tempat2 yang ade stesen minyak....

tube-type tyre tak sesuai jalan jauh...kena slalu jaga 'angin' tayar. pastu, kalo slalu bawak pillion blakang, lagi la menambah kemungkinan pancit. lagipun, tube-type sensitif sket...tercucuk paku sket dah tayar kempes terus.xleh jalan..kna tolak moto...kalo pakai tayar tube, masih ada harapan nak jalan lagi slow2(walaupun paku dah terbenam dlm tyre)..

p/s - tayar tubeless mahal drpd tube-type. tapi risk tu kurang 'bnyk'. hehehe alahhh, kalo tayar pancit pun, ada ke org pompuan nak gi bukak ganti tayar blakang tu(walaupun ada tyre spare).....huahuahuahuahuahauhu...sanggup je dia bayar rm100 utk tuka tube je!

alah,ko beli cable speedo yg baru jer...slalunya bila kabel speedo putus, mileage pun xjalan. baru brapa hengget je tu..
