Technical Aspect
Notice the difference between both of the cone bearing from the Ixion and the marketed FZ 150 model. IMO, its possible that the front fork can be changed into a USD fork like the Concept Ixion Bike. Insider says that its from KAYABA "KYB".
Looks familiar? Its not 100% same as the Yamaha 150 TZM but look at it clearly and it still is 90% the same as a Yamaha TZM.
Yea, the cone bearing where everybody is curious about.
The 2-Pot Front Brake and the 1-Pot Rear brake. Hose is a steel braided GOODRICH cable.
Notice the KYB monoshock. Yes, KYB is supplying Yamaha for their FZ model.
Alright, no commend for this. Feel free to check it out yourself.
Re: YAMAHA FZ 150/IXION Concept
I've no doubt this bike would rocket out our market.
ps - if i'm not mistaken, they spelled it V-1X10N. yes, its truly breathtaking.

yup, i agree....
the v-1X10N look astonishing and brutelle...
hurmm.
does it have the same power like fz???
Re: YAMAHA FZ 150/IXION Concept
I doubt it will have the same power as the FZ.
Why? Look at the big fat tyres and the accesories that the Ixion is having. Its not racing material. Its all heavy duty equipment, which meant increase in weight. Its just a 150cc Engine. Though we did discuss that some minor changer to the FZ is possible to be like the Ixion but not 100%.
For example, the headlights, just like a Kawasaki Z-model. Than the Lower Housing to touch up that empty/naked look. Plus the disc brake at the rear for some sporty performance. Front USD Forks plus that solid rear swing arm with rear hugger. Ryms and the rest are okay.

Re: YAMAHA FZ 150/IXION Concept
Its kind of overkill don't you think? Michelin Pilot Power plus that of that huge exhaust.
Hmmm, don't think those small bikes going to need things that sticky and that huge, its just plain heavy. Might as well ride an RXZ. So much easier on the eye and on the pocket.
Problem is, its not necessary for it to look like a big bike unless it doesn't affect the bike's capability. Its like Putting a Powerful Mother Board for your PC but with low-end hardware.

anyone cares to dump those stuff on my tzm, we'll see whether it still has enough power.
