looking for zxr exhaust brand: attention ART ZXR?
I was told to contact ART ZXR, to find out what kind of exhaust he has on his bike. I saw the youtube videos of a great sounding exhaust system and was wanting to know what brand it was? I do not have a zxr, but i just bought an 08 250r ninja and all the exhausts i have found for them are to deep sounding and don't really sound like a bike. I was trying to find out if i could just put the exhaust thats on the zxr on mine?

hi bro. if i'm not mistaken, ART ZXR are using Yoshimura muffler. the new 250R Ninja based on 2-cylinder inline engine bike but ZXR250 are 4-cylinder inline. its totally different. you'll never get ZXR sound from your 08 250R although u change to any aftermarket muffler.

Sorry, forgot to introduce, Bdon is from America, right? He's interested in Art's exhaust notes.
FYI Bdon, your Kawasaki is a parallel twin compare to Art's inline 4.

Re: looking for zxr exhaust brand: attention ART ZXR?
bdon42001 from US?
From his PM I tought he own the same bike but no, a Ninja 250R with twin cylinder engine cannot give the same sound as a hiper rev Ninja ZXR250 spining its crankshaft at 19000 RPM.
Even with the same muffler U can only get a low thumping fast pulse note from your engine.
I,m sorry mate, U need a bike with 4 cylinder engine, better still the one with cc lower than 400 if U want to rev it like an F1 car. ZXR250/CBR250.

The new NINJA 250R is going to have 32 hp, it weights 151 kilos, and it's a twin -don't know if parallel or V-. According to Kawasaki it's the "worthy" successor of the ZZR 250. As you can see it's not very "hipersport" and it's more oriented to the urban and "touring" use.
The exhaust is clearly oriented on the ZZR 250.
