Turun enjin???

salam guys...

saya baru berjinak2 dgn aktiviti menurunkan enjin (membaraikan) moto....skang masih dlm proses blajo. bak kata tukun(MBC), baru nak masok diploma...kehkehkeh...

ini hasil kerja kami yg 1st...bengkel bawah pokok bumbung umah je...

target kami, nak troubleshoot problem moto sendiri pasni, SENDIRI! tanpa perlu ke kedai cha-yha utk ditipu dan dikelentong....atau minimise kemungkinan kna kenchengg...

moto projek, 1993 Suzuki Bandit 400.
problemnye, moto dah cecah 180km/j, pastu ada bunyi pelik kat engine, igtkan valve patah ke hape, tapi leh jalan lagi, sampai la moto terus mati...bila bukak head, semua dlm keadaan cantik...xde patah ke apa. piston pon ok je. suspek connecting rod pulak. skali tu..bila dah bukak kesemuanya....rupanya....bearing out....







sebenarnya, moto 4-stroke ni lebih kurang je semua..sama je...lebih2 lagi sbk. kawa,honda,suzy smua lebih kurang je...cuma ada certain teknologi yg ada pada kawa takde pada honda dan suzy dan vice versa...sikit2 je part yg membezakan...tapi kalo 2 stroke dah lain ar...hehehe...

p/s - thread ni saya akan update lagi, sbb cbr saya pun akan di"turun"kan enjin jugak. cuma tggu masa nak ride smula ke melaka. bro art kita pun expert bab2 turun enjin ni...mana la tau dpt kongsi2 ngn kami yg noob nih. Smile

Err,, 1st time overhaul ZX2 dulu mmg ada amik gamba. Pastu sape tah punya keja letak virus kat harddisc PC ni. Habis gamba tu. La ni malas la pulak nk amik gambar, maklumlah tangan biasanya berminyak kotor masa repair moto kan..

Skrg aku ikut panduan workshop manual ZXR250 utk spec ukuran dan clearance. Insyaallah, aku harap aku boleh enjoy moto aku ni tanpa masalah serius lagi pasni.

Antara kerosakan yang aku rectify sendiri :
-Overhaul enjin utk tukar bearing conrod dgn piston.
-Overhaul lagi utk tukar crank shaft, cam chain dan tensioner.
-Service fork, tukar oil seal, dust cap dan minyak fork. Dah 3 kali tuu.
-Tukar wheel bearing.
-Service brake.
-Rewiring. Ubahsuai juga..
-Ubahsuai tail, lampu brek, lampu depan, signal juga.
-Jack-up absorber blakang biar tinggi sikit.
-Pengikat silenser ditinggikan lagi

ni fatwa negara mana plak ni rs125 pakai Fuel Injection neeeeeehhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

kami menghadapi sedikit masalah nak bukak/belah engine, sbbnya, kami xdpt buka case magnetic coil (apa namanya yek bro?)...



dlm tu ada magnetic coil...


bila disemak2 manual bandit 400, rupanya kna ada "special tool" dari suzuki....perghh...setelah dok mencangkung lama kat depan engine tu, bro tukun(MBC) dpt idea...kami akan buat sendiri "special tool" tu...

dah beli skru,washer,nut,"kayu beroti"...tggu kami buat....saya akan update lagi.

p/s - kalo x salah saya, nama special tool tu ada lah "pulley installer/remover"...

ya, kami bermasalah cari special tool tu. saya tak rasa di melaka ni ada jual. option lain sama ada naik ke KL atau turun ke Singapore. tapi takpa...

kami akan "cipta" sendiri tool tu...yg penting kna paham konsep pulley tu saje.....cuma kami menghadapi masalah "masa xbanyak"..hehehe..

Haa betul tu apa yg Pistole bagitau. Jangan ketuk magnet dan bahagian2nya. Nnti kekuatan magnet tu terjejas. Panaskan pun jgn sesekali.

Aku tau masalahnya skrg. ZX2 aku haritu pun nak cabut rotor tu susah. Magnet puller takde. Aku nak cipta sendiri benang tread pada magnet tu pelik pulak. Takde jual nut dgn tread mcm tu. Tapi crankcase ZX2 boleh bukak dan kita leh keluarkan seketul crankshaft. Aku hantar pakai hidro press sampai berapa tan baru magnet tu tanggal. Kuat betul melekat.

UPDATE!!

smalam ada masa sket. saya dan castello shoot ke umah bro tukun tempat "sekolah" kitorang...

our OWN "special tool".............hehehehehehehe




sampai kopak kayu beroti tu...

bengkok skru tu...mmg kuat giler la magnet tu!

kau beroti memula yg xjadi...

kalo ada chance, kami nak belajar pulak lilit sendiri.........!

PUNCA KEROSAKAN BANDIT 400 nih!


kita boleh nampak bahagian pemegang skru conrod belah kiri berwarna hitam kesan terbakar. beza dgn yg lain kan...


ini dia...bush bearing yg dah bercantum.....dah rosak ler tu...bandingkan dgn bush bearing yg OK kat belakang dia tu.


groove crankshaft yg dah bergerutu...kalo yg lain yg masih elok, licin jer...takpe ini boleh guna kertas pasir utk licinkan semula..

alhamdulillah dah dpt pun kenalpasti kerosakan kat bandito nih...banyak pengalaman yg kami dah dapat dari bro Tukun (MBC)...TQ bro!..

seterusnya kami akan buat moto ni "hidup" semula..dan projek seterusnya...mungkin...."1 blok 150cc...4 blok = 600cc"....hehehehehehehe...conversion bandit400 kpd bandit 600. insyaallah.

saya akan update lagi. terima kasih kerana sudi menjenguk thread yg xseberapa nih.

- boleh buat spesial tool pakai kayu .. woohoo .... sedapnya
tengok gambar tu.

- yang bearing shell , definitely failed. Tapi perlu check baik-baik
punca failure (very likely oil starvation , blocked oil feed hole yang
menyusu bearing shell itu).

ya, u got the point. mmg itu oil engine dah kurang tapi owner layan jugak sampai 180km/j....sbbnya...tingkap tgk level engine oil tu sudah tipu sama kitorang...suzuki punya moto lama takda penyukat mcm Honda and other brand..so, bila tgk tingkap tu, "macam" penuh saja(minyak hitam dah lekat kat tingkap tu) padahal minyak hitam tak cukup...

ZXR aku dulu mcm tu jugak. Bunyi bising. Bila bukak tengok 1 plain bearing dah haus. Penapis minyak yg kat dalam oil sump pulak dah tersumbat. Lepas repair tu semuanya ok accept bush crankshaft dh haus lebih sevice limit. Aku pakai jugak. Ganti plain bearing jer. Tapi tu pun tak lama. Bearing yg sama rosak lagi. Nak ganti crankshaft mahal.
Aku carryon guna crankshaft tu. Ganti plain bearing je hingga masa balik tengok motoGP 2006 crankshaft tu giveup terus... Crying or Very sad
Hopefully skrg tak kena mcm tu lagi.

p/s - UPDATE..moto bandit sudah pasang semula enjin..makan masa 2 hari....tggu masa untuk 'run-in' shj...gambar akan di upload kemudian...bearing kami tak beli yg original suzuki pun. kami pergi ke kilang yg ada machine utk proses besi dsb, dan upah mereka utk buat bush bearing sama mcm original suzuki. total cost, RM5. eg :

"Traditional rod and main bearing construction is based upon a
three layer configuration composed of a steel backing, a copper-lead
layer and a very thin overlay of babbitt material"

- and the material used to coat the shell bearing must be
"weaker" than that of the crankshaft/main/rod-end material.

Yeaa betul tu pistole.

err Zul, kalau aku boleh fabricate crankshaft sendiri, aku dah bina enjin V8 500cc guna piston ZXR250. Bayangkan V8 500cc rev sampai 18000rpm camana bunyinya..

lepas psg throttle cable, nak pasang carburetor pulak...


tadaaaa.....lepas pasang carburetor...


dah dekat senja baru siap naik...2 jam ambil masa...

- not for crank journal .....

- but really respect the DIY spirit bagi benda ni. Sudah
lama tak nampak orang semangat kuat seperti korang.
